ATS Current Transducer/Switch Named a 2012 Plant Engineering Magazine Product of the Year Award Winner

ATS receives Silver award in the electrical controls category
The ATS Current Sensing Switch and Transducer from NK Technologies has received the Silver award for Electrical Controls in the 2012 Plant Engineering magazine Product of the Year contest. The ATS series is a compact one piece solution that combines a limit alarm with an analog output signal transducer to monitor produced or consumed AC current up to 1200 amps, while magnetically isolating outputs and inputs to maximize safety. An innovative and patent pending rotary switch makes it easy for users to set the trip point. DIN rail mounting simplifies installation and provides an extremely secure mount that is resistant to conductor movement.

New DS1 Current Sensors Detect Very Low DC Current Levels in Compact, Simple-to-Use Package

DS1 Current SensorNK Technologies introduces DS1 DC Current Sensors. DS1 current sensors feature a compact and non-adjustable one-piece design to deliver reliable detection of very low DC current levels in a wide range of applications. Their compact and non-adjustable one-piece design simplifies installation, even in crowded control cabinets. DS1 current sensors can be powered by any DC voltage between 10 – 28 volts and use the same circuit as the one being controlled, or a separate source of voltage to power the sensor as long as the circuit being controlled uses the same ground. This further simplifies installation and operation when compared with other current sensors.

Significantly Simplify Current Monitoring and Help Minimize Downtime with ASL Switches

NK Technologies introduces ASL Series AC Current Operated Switches. The ASL series features a patent pending and user-selectable linear setpoint adjustment, enabling users to reliably monitor current, simply, in a wide range of applications. The ASL series is available in a panel mounted solid- or split-core enclosure to simplify installation. An easily established contact actuation point can be set with no load present and a two second delay ignores motor inrush current upon energization. Magnetically isolated output maximizes safety and eliminates insertion losses, and solid-state reliability eliminates periodic maintenance or calibration requirements. No external power source is required for operation.

Easily Monitor Energized Circuits in Tight Spaces with new AS1 Compact Case Current Sensing Switch

Ring design easily slips onto a conductor to give a solid-state contact for cost effective and reliable current flow indication as low as 0.5 amps
NK Technologies introduces the AS1 Series Compact Case Current Sensing Switch. With its tiny 1 inch housing, the AS1 is a compact and cost-effective solution that enables users to monitor an energized circuit in tight spaces. The easy-to-use ring design easily slips onto a conductor to reliably detect currents as low as 0.5A with a single conductor pass, eliminating the need to wrap conductors multiple times. Reliable, solid-state output with no moving parts provides a nearly unlimited number of operations..
